Based on the aim of developing the experiences of technical staffs in Qatar Athletics Federation to run the coming indoor events in Qatar like the 3rd Asian Indoor Athletics Championship to be held during 14-16/2/2008, Qatar Athletics Federation decided to send its technical experts to participate in the organization of the 2nd Asian Indoor Games-Macao 26/10/-3/11/2007. This step is also to prepare for the host of 2010 World Indoor Athletics Championship, where Qatar will forward its bidding file next month for this occasion. These technical delegates are:
1. Dr. Jabar Rihema Al-Kaabi (QAAF Technical Secretary)
2. Mr. Abdulhakim Al-Omari (Head of Referees Committee)
3. Mr. Yakoub Yosuf Abdullah (Head of Supplies Section)
The participation in this Asian event will provide Qatar’s technical delegates with more experience and preparation for future indoor events like the next Asian Athletics Indoor Championship to be held in Doha 2008. The delegates will travel to Macao on 24 October 2007.
