DOHA: Athens gold medallist Justin Gatlin of the United States will take part in the Qatar Super Grand Prix to be held here on May 13.

This was announced by the Qatar Amateur Athletics Federation on Monday.

Nearly 250 athletes have been lined up for the one-day affair in which Qatar’s Said Said Shaheen, the steeplechase champion from the Paris Worlds in 2003, and India’s Bobby Anju George, will also take part.

Mubaraq Al Noobi and Khalid Habas are the other two prominent Qatari athletes set to take part in the programme to be held at the Qatar Sports Club, the Qatar Amateur Athletics Federation said.
