Qatar Military Athletic Team Won the 1st Place in GCC Military Athletic Championship – Abu Dhabi

Qatar Military Athletic Team won the first place in the 1st GCC Military Athletic Championship held in Abu Dhabi during the period from 18.03.to 21.03.2006

At the end of Competition Captain Mohamed Ahmed Suleiman Qatar Military Team's Captain received Competition Cup from Major General Moued Harb president of organizing committee.


Brigadier General Dahlan Al-Hamad :- Our participation in this competition is as the instructions of His Excellency The Chief of The Staff of Qatar Armed Forces .

Brigadier General Dahlan Al-Hamad President of Qatar Military Sports Association and Chief of Qatar Mission Participating in the 1st GCC Military Athletic Championship , Presents this achievements to His Excellency Major General Hamad Bin Ali Al-Attiya The Chief of The Staff of Qatar Armed Forces , and said that our participation in this competition is as the instructions of His Excellency to participate in all Military Regional and International events and added we participated in this competition with our National Military Team in order to evaluate their standards and performance before the starting of Asian Games . We wish the participation of Saudi Athletic Team in this competition due to their team's high performance.

And said that the preparation of our foreign camps will be continuous, to prepare our teams for the upcoming competitions and at the end of his speech captain Suleiman congratulate His Excellency Brigadier General Dahlan Al-Hamd President of Qatar Military Sports Association about this achievements and thanks him for his support to Athletic Sports .
