DOHA: The Qatar Association of Athletic Federation (QAAF) and Toyota sign an agreement yesterday, making Toyota and Lexus the official main sponsor for the mega athletics event, Qatar IAAF World Super Tour.

Over 150 top athletes will be participating in the event which will take place at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

The agreement was signed yesterday by President of QAAF Dahlan Al-Hamad on and Abdulrahman Abduljaleel Abdulghani, Managing Director of Abdullah Abdulghani & Brothers Co. (Toyota & Lexus).

QAAF President Al-Hamad delivered a speech where he welcomed the sponsorship of Toyota & Lexus Company for its great support for sports in Qatar, especially athletics.

Abdulghani announced the new contribution from his company to the Qatar IAAF World Super Tour where Toyota and Lexus will the official vehicles for the competition.

The signing ceremony was attended by QAAF Secretary General Abdullah al-Zaini and Dr Mohamed A al-Dorani, General Manager of Abdullah Abdulghani & Brothers Co. (Toyota & Lexus).
