Bershawn bracing up for glory at Qatar IAAF World Super Tour

DOHA: Officials of Qatar IAAF Super World Tour Organizing Committee ensure unanimously the fact that the hero athlete of 400meters Jackson Bershawn of USA is relatively qualified to stay in the limelight by reserving his record as the top world athlete in 400meters.

Jackson, who won the event in Osaka last week in 47.60s finishing ahead of Iakovkis Periklis from Greece (47.82s) and the Japanese athlete Narisako Kenji (47.93s).

The American set his best ever timing at IAAF World Tour in Helsinki, where he clocked 47.30s. It was the first victory achieved by an American athlete in any outdoor tour.

Jackson also proved his potential in US, Madrid, London Grand Prix, Stockholm and Zurich.

Last season was one of the best for Jackson where his performance reached the zenith in US Indoor Tour as he finished the distance in 46.05s.
