Qatar’s Kibore Felix Kikwai participated in the Palio Città della Quercia – Rovereto, Italy, on 12 September 2007. He competed in the 5000m event and managed to dominate the 6^th rank with 13:33.63. The first three ranks were dominated by Kenyan athletes: Kosgei Shadrack (1^st 13:15.23), Kiptoo Mark Kosgei (2^nd 13:15.54), and Taragon Wilfred Kipkoech (3^rd 13:15.91). These three athletes showed a close competitiveness till the last few meters of the event. Barrios Juan Luis of Mexico ranked 4^th with 13:17.00, while the 5^th rank was occupied by Spain’s Alves Francisco Javier with 13:28.75. Finally, 15 athletes participated in this event represented 11 countries.
