Athletics
Association formed the technical and
administrative delegations that are going to
participate in the 2nd Asian Indoor Games to be
held in Macao during 26/10/ - 3/11/ 2007. It is
worth notice that Qatari athletes seized during
the Asian Athletics Indoor Championship
(Thailand 2006) 3 gold medals, one silver medal,
and three Asian records. Saif Saeed Shaheen
claimed gold in the 3000m event with Asian
indoor record, Albadri Salam seized the gold
medal in the 800m event; Daham Najim Bashir won
gold in the 1500m event, while the silver medal
was seized by Adam Abda Adam in the 800m event.
