The
Qatari Women Athletics Team took part in the 1st
GCC Sports Championship for Women held in Kuwait
during 5-11 march 2008. The Qatari delegation
included Mrs. Ahlam Almane (board member of QAAF
and member of the organizing committee for women
sports in the GCC), Mrs. Maraim Abdullah Al-Esihaq
(team director), and Mrs. Maqbula Jowher Saeed
(administrator), as well as Mr. Joachim Krug
(technical director of the team). The results
achieved by the Qatari women athletes are as
shown below:
