Doha, May 8, 2008 – Blanca Vlasic , Croatian female athlete, and holder of gold medal in high jump event in last world athletics championship held in Japan confirmed readiness to vie in the forthcoming 2008 Qatar Super Grand prix which will kick off at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar sc on Friday.

Croatian athlete said participation in the current event is a new beginning for her sport season and preparation for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

The Croatian star was born in Siplit city in November 11, 1983, she enjoys with 1,93 m length and 75 kg weight, her best achievements were world record in Stockholm 2007 and gold medal in high jump event in last world athletics championship – Japan .

2008 Qatar Super Grand prix's media centre witnessed a press conference at Al Maha hall of Sheraton hotel held on Wednesday, where world athletes expressed their ambitions and participations in the coming international sport events.
