Doha, January 2009 23 - Mr. Abdulrahman Al Shathri, president of Qatar Association of Athletics Federation, QAAF has delivered his apology to act as president of QAAF due to private circumstances.

In accordance to the above mentioned apology, QAAF secretary general, Abdullah Al Zaini will act as new president of QAAF for sport term 2008 – 2012
