QAAF president HE Abdullah Al-Zaini presided a meeting with the heads of the committees in the Qatar Super Grand Prix Organizing Committee. Mr. Al-Zaini is the president of this organizing committee. The meeting was held on 22 March 2009 in Qatar Olympic Committee building. The attendees were:

QAAF
president welcomed the attendees and reviewed
with them the meeting agenda. The members of the
organizing committee later discussed the best
mechanisms and steps that have to be conducted
to further develop and feature the 2009 Qatar
Athletics Super Grand Prix. HE Al-Zaini
emphasized on the importance of teamwork among
all committees’ heads and staffs. He explained
to the attendees the importance of this big
sporting event in Qatar and its value to IAAF.
Finally, QAAF president discussed the roles of
each committee and instructed the heads to spend
all their efforts and submit new ideas during
the coming meetings, which will be held
regularly in the near future.
